On December 12, 2019, a joint meeting of the Central Scientific Council, the general meeting of the Council of Young Scientists and the Student Scientific Society of the NUPh was attended by 67 students–delegates from the SSS groups of the departments of NUPh, 46 young scientists and 62 teachers who coordinate scientific activity and student scientific societies at the departments.

Vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work, professor A. A. Zagayko drew attention of all present to the importance of youth science development at the university and major achievements of the last academic year, and expressed hope for further successful cooperation of the scientific department with the departments and wished students achievements and aspirants in science.

During the meeting, a report on the activity of the NUPh Council of Young Scientists for 2017-2019 was heard, following which Iryna Surikova was re-elected to the position of Young Scientists chairman for a term of 2 years, as well as the new composition of the working group and assets of the Youth Council was approved scientists.

Also at the meeting, Sergey Nemirovsky presented a report on the activity of the SSS in 2018-2019. and the program of the candidate for the post of chairman of the SSS, which was also supported by the secret ballot.
